Favorite Hagrid Moment

I just adore Hagrid! My absolute favorite moment with him is when he meets eleven year old Harry.
I love everything about this moment:
- breaking down the door
- the mushed birthday cake
- Dudley's tail
- the loyalty towards Dumbledore
This was the first time that Harry had anyone show concern over his feelings and well-being. I think it's great that his first taste of the wizarding world is the outcast giant. Hagrid was so upset leaving Harry with the Dursleys so it's fantastic that Dumbledore sent him to rescue Harry from them.
Hagrid: "This boy's had his name down ever since he was born. He'll be goin' to the finest school of witchcraft and wizardry in the world and he'll be under the greatest headmaster that Hogwarts has ever seen; Albus Dumbledore."
Vernon Dursley: "I will not pay to have some crackpot old fool teach him magic tricks!"
Hagrid: "Never... insult... Albus Dumbledore... in front of me!"
